Samsung Workshop: Exclusive opportunity for developers
Here at the IoT Tech Expo North America, we are very excited to announce that Samsung will be hosting an exclusive, hands-on workshop accessible for free for a limited number of developers. Taking place on the afternoon of October 20th within the Santa Clara Convention Center, CA, the workshop will cover IoT from module to cloud with ARTIK as the centerpiece, using tools including ARTIK Cloud, Node-RED and Arduino.
Your hosts will be Dan Gross, the new leads Ecosystem Developer Support for Samsung’s new IoT platform, ARTIK and Wei Xiao, a technical evangelist and Senior Staff Engineer for Samsung’s IoT platform ARTIK. Suffice to say that this will be an extremely enlightening and informative workshop for those lucky enough to attend!
It will start with IoT basics, board bring-up, and GPIO, then build your own smart parking system! We will also let the parking spaces in our system communicate with each other by using M2M. In addition, we will introduce ARTIK Cloud integration and use ARTIK Cloud Rules Engine to trigger cross-device actions.
We only have room for a limited number of developers to join us that day, so apply now. In order to be eligible, you must answer a few questions first, and possess beginner – intermediate developing capabilities. If you are selected to attend, we promise that it will be a fantastic learning opportunity.
Limited places available. These will be given on a first-come, first-serve basis.
