If you’re stuck for something to do after the first day of IoT Tech Expo, or are in Berlin the night before the event, then our friends at SORACOM are putting together a series of free to attend workshops around IoT connectivity.

The workshops take place at the Estrel Hotel, Sonnenallee 225, Berlin, on May 31 and June 1, and start at 6:00pm and finish at 8:30pm.

The sessions will be a mix of the practical and theoretical, and will teach attendees on how to connect a Raspberry Pi via a cellular network, how to visualise data on the cloud, and how to circuit an ultrasonic sensor via breadboard.

The only things attendees need to bring with them are their laptops – Linux, Mac or Windows – and a credit or debit card to help register. The doors open at 5:45pm with sessions set to start at 6:15pm, with entry limited to 25 per class, so make sure you register as soon as possible!

Find out more about and register for the events here – May 31, and June 1.
