Erfan Khabareh is an embedded systems engineer at AVANTYS GmbH in Paderborn, Germany, where his work centers on firmware development, cross-compiler toolchains, and hardware/software integration for embedded Linux systems. His background includes FPGA build and synthesis toolchains from research work at Universität Paderborn, alongside hands-on firmware development for ARM-based microcontroller systems — from PCB design through hardware bring-up. He is currently completing a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering at Universität Paderborn and is co-author of a Springer book chapter on latency-aware resource management in edge clouds.
