Graduated of civil engineering of the MSc Engineering Centrale Nantes and Msc Sciences and Techniques of urban environment in 2009, Benjamin has been working for EDF R&D for 10 years, first in the European Institute for Energy Research in Germany as a research engineer and project manager. He has managed developments for the smart city simulations and offer developed for various entities at EDF. He was then Director of the EDF Lab Singapore focussing on Smart City to support the Housing and Development Board (HDB) building more sustainable districts and he has been developing Micro Grids activities for non-interconnected areas. Benjamin is now Smart Energy Application manager in EDF Energy R&D UK Centre, leveraging on its strong international experience in urban and energy modelling, urban mobility and integrated planning, to prepare the next generation of energy systems.
