Marcelo Lecocq is responsible for thought leadership and executive interaction in IDC’s European networks research including wireless, routing, and switching technologies in both the campus and the datacentre as well as software-defined networks, network visibility, channel GTM, IoT, sustainability and Network AI/ML.

Before joining IDC, he worked at O2 and spent 15 years at Cisco, where he provided actionable market, customer, channel, competitor, and seller intelligence within EMEA.

He has an engineering degree (UTFSM, Chile), an MSc in marketing (University of Surrey,U.K.), and an MSc in economics (University of Bath, U.K.).
