Murat Özkıyıkcı is a seasoned IT professional with over 25 years of experience. Born and raised in Gaziantep, Turkey, he holds a Computer Programming education from Boğaziçi University and a Public Administration education from Anadolu University.
Özkıyıkcı’s career journey began in 1998, venturing into the dynamic world of information technology. He has held a diverse range of positions, including programming, analysis, system administration, and department management. For the past 13 years, he has been an integral part of Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality, leaving an indelible mark on the city’s technological landscape.
A visionary leader, Özkıyıkcı established the Smart Cities Department, spearheading its operations for two years. Subsequently, he took the helm of the Promotion Department, demonstrating his expertise for another two years. Currently, he serves as the Director of Digital Media Department, overseeing a wide spectrum of digital marketing initiatives, encompassing social media, internet, and LED screen advertising, as well as outdoor, print, and internet press campaigns.
