In this role I am directing the Sharing Cities programme, funded by Horizon 2020, the European Commission’s framework programme for research and innovation. This programme focuses on applying Smart City technology to an urban environment and how smart solutions can be part of everyday life. The programme covers six cities – London, Lisbon, Milan, Burgas, Bordeaux and Warsaw. I am based with the GLA in London.

I ensure that the cities and all consortium partners deliver on individual and connected programme obligations, objectives, outputs and outcomes, so that the wider strategic aims of the project are met in order to maximise the impact of the programme.
