Pragya Madaan possesses a diverse technology background, with experience at The Hut Group, HSBC Technology, Unilever. In her current capacity at The Hut Group, she spearheads the development of forward-thinking security solutions. This encompasses securing multiple facets, such as securing global marketing supply chain, development codebases and promoting the shift-left security ideation.

Furthermore, she holds substantial exposure to varied fields of technology such as IoT, Machine learning, AI, Security and Privacy, Scalable and Distributed computing, Urban computing, App & Web Development, Data analytics. Her strong technical skills are complemented by a Master’s in Computer Science distinction from Trinity College Dublin (Ireland) and a Bachelor’s in Software Engineering from Thapar Institute (India).

In addition to her primary responsibilities, she has been an industrial mentor to tech institutions and start-ups in the UK, Ireland, and India. Being an activist, she has fervently discussed her perspectives as an emerging leader at Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) at Harvard University in the USA, a social advocate at ISFiT in Norway, a tech ambassador for Trinity College Dublin’s initiatives, STEM scholar at Grace Hopper Conference and AnitaB.org community, among others.
