Charles Matthews leads strategy and strategic partnerships for the Networks division at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise (ALE). He works with the product and sales team to align product and Go-To-Market strategies to increase revenue share in key accounts, strategic countries, and target verticals. In addition, Matthews manages ALE’s strategic relationship with HP Enterprise and Avaya. Prior to this strategy role, he ran North America Sales and Global Services at ALE.

Matthews has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications and software industries. During his tenure with Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise he has held positions of progressive management in R&D, Educational Services, Customer Care, Professional Services and Sales. Matthews is a graduate of Harvard University. He currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA).
