Helin joined Exelon in 2013 and has held a variety of roles within the company.  He started his career in the US Navy as an enlisted Nuclear Electrical Operator on board the USS Albuquerque (SSN 706), followed by I&C Engineering, Systems Engineering and Project Management roles at GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy. Since joining Exelon, Eric has held leadership roles in contract negotiations, IT, and Quantitative Analytics within the commercial energy business Constellation.

Currently, Eric is a Senior Manager, Innovation for Corporate Innovation. His team’s mission is to solve high value business challenges using emerging technology that is scalable across the enterprise. He is currently focused on the enterprise level IoT strategy, co-developing products with innovative start-up companies and scouting innovative technology for Exelon.

Helin lives in the Baltimore suburbs with his wife and two daughters.

Helin graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) with a B.S. in Nuclear Engineering and Engineering Physics (Dual Major) and earned an M.B.A. from the University of North Carolina, Wilmington.
