Paul Chen is the Head of Electronic Design for Mattel, where he leads a global team responsible for creating electronics for toys and baby gear; that enable the next generation to explore the wonder of childhood.
Paul has spent his career at the forefront of cutting-edge technology. Prior to his role at Mattel, he worked on secure printing and web services security at Canon. And at Microsoft Surface, his PM team defined and enabled secure remote management based on the Surface health model. When he previously led engineering at Suntsu Electronics, Inc., Paul encountered a wide range of IoT strategies while working on product design for various clients. With his expertise in electronic design and secure management, he is regarded as a thought leader in the industry, inspiring the next generation of engineers to push the boundaries of what’s possible.
