Scott has worked in manufacturing for 30 years; 18 years in enterprise applications and 12 years on the factory floor in high tech, semiconductor, electronics assembly, telecom, aerospace and defense providing Industrial Engineering line support, systems implementations and consulting services in discrete event simulation based capacity and factory modelling.

As a Principal Industry Consultant in the Global Mfg & Supply Chain Practice at SAS, he focuses on driving the success of SAS Supply Chain solutions, focusing on demand driven forecasting, inventory optimization, demand signal analytics, supply chain intelligence, service and spare parts planning and S&OP/IBP. This involves working with sales teams across all SAS offices, engaging with customers globally to understand their needs, driving customer value assessments, speaking & promoting SAS’ capabilities at local and international SAS Conferences and influencing the future direction of SAS Supply Chain Intelligence.

He has deep supply chain planning experience having worked for a number of leading SCM solution vendors including SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, i2 Technologies, Manugistics, Servigistics and Optiant. He has typically worked in sales and marketing roles, including director product strategy, director product management, manager presales and technical account manager.

He holds an M.S. Systems Management (U.S.C.) and a B.S. Industrial Engineering (Cal Poly SLO). He is a Certified Professional Forecaster with the Institute of Business Forecasting & Planning. Alongside his professional and family life, Scott enjoys skiing and performing semi-professionally on the guitar.
