Previously, as Head of Enterprise Applications and Architecture from 2019 to 2021, the leader developed and maintained long-term technology strategies, implementation plans, and governance, including the successful M&A integration of Horizon lines $469M and SPAN Alaska $198M, generating one-time savings of $40M and reducing the overall run rate by $25M. The team also increased the profitability of Matson’s Autos and Rolling stock segment by 63% over three years, with an increase in EBITDA of over $13M.

As Director of eCommerce and Enterprise Apps from 2007 to 2018, the leader directed the IT strategy and managed vendor relationships across an extensive portfolio of applications. Among the notable accomplishments, they were leading a $40M digital transformation and developing an award-winning mobile-enabled transportation brokerage platform, as well as creating a technology-based supply chain solution for small to medium-sized businesses, growing the business unit by 50% YOY for three consecutive years.

Before joining Matson, the leader was a Consulting Program Manager at CSC, responsible for the company’s leading payment process platform, and a Senior Design Engineer at TRW Financial Systems, developing digital imaging solutions for financial companies and retailers.

The leader holds a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University, a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology, Nagpur, and completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford, CA. Additionally, the leader is certified in Digital Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Champaign, IL.

The leader also volunteers for various organizations, including Matson Gives Back, Wardrobe for Opportunity, and United Way.
