Applying Sensors for a Smart San Francisco

Paul will talk about how by collecting data from new sensors and existing infrastructure, applying advanced algorithms, the traffic flow in San Francisco has be improved dramatically. TNL participated in a proof of concept to show what it takes to deploy at scale and the results the citizens should expect.

In the talk, Paul will show you the results and what it takes besides the technology to deploy to potentially hundreds of intersections and reduce public transit travel times and the chance that you must wait for a red light, reduce CO2 emissions, deliver operation cost reduction, and increase safety.
