    Day 2

Small Cities are often neglected by large Smart City and technology vendors because they simply don’t have the resources of their larger sister cities. However, small cities are where the majority of Americans live as 80% of cities in the US have populations of 10,000 or less and 60% have populations of 5,000 or less, and these cities can also benefit from Smart City technologies. Mayor Eugene W. Grant will bring his unique perspective of a Mayor of a Small City that has successfully transformed into a Smart City, and he will share key strategies and techniques he employed to undertake this transformation.
