View Presentation: The Rise of Wireless Power Networks
Presentation: The Rise of Wireless Power Networks
- The IoT ecosystem is expanding at a rapid rate; IDC projects it will to reach 39.3 billion devices by 2025.
- These billions of internet-connected devices all share one common need: reliable and consistent power.
- However, most devices in current IoT deployments rely on either cumbersome power cables or on batteries that must be frequently replaced at varying intervals, placing massive strains on maintenance teams, limiting the value these devices can deliver and adding toxic waste to landfills.
- In this talk Cesar will discuss the rise of Wireless Power Networks that not only deliver reliable & consistent wireless power, but also helps aggregate IoT device data transfer to the Cloud from the next generation of power-hungry IoT deployments.

View Presentation: IOT and Edge-Computing: Next Big Challenges
Presentation: IOT and Edge-Computing: Next Big Challenges
The well-known five Vs of Key Performance Indices (KPI), viz., Veracity, Velocity, Validity, Volume, and Value are more pertinent to IoT than any other areas that any other areas of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence working with Big-Data. Edge Computing and IOT in that sense have a match made in heaven because, it, releases the technology stack from the cloisters of data centers and large server racks to where the data is. However, edge computing also has a great impact on how we think not just about the data but how we use the data in smarter predictability and decisions making using new thinking on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. This presentation takes a step back and takes a new look at the area of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and redefines and positions Edge Computing in the context of that new thinking. This presentation further takes the area of Edge Computing to other areas of modern technology such as Blockchain, Digital Twin, Augmented, and Virtual Reality as an extension of the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as Quantum Computing. The author describes each of these areas and their relationships to Edge Computing through his own innovative works and beyond.
