Hi, I’m Bill. I am a true leader of people with a proven ability to deliver. I drive the optimisation of operations with a real strategic nous in innovation, people /project management, finance and often complex stakeholder engagement.

PhD & MBA (Warwick – top 10% of cohort) qualified. I now manage a world-leading Irish state funded (Science Foundation Ireland) research innovation & technology centre delivering high value research outcomes (IoT, Analytics, VR/AR, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Smart Products) & Business Models for the Irish manufacturing sector.
I bring my industry knowledge and leadership skills to high value research and Tech program delivery for the Pharma, Medical Devices, & Food sectors. I currently also sit on the Ireland National Innovation Committee & Ireland National Industry 4.0 Committee for Manufacturing & standards.

I have 12 +years Global Operations management across diverse cultures & sectors including High Volume Manufacturing, Renewables & Pharmaceuticals and have managed across 6 countries.

A skilled director, I’ve managed multiple global manufacturing sites with full responsibility for P&L encompassing diverse areas of supply chain, quality control, R&D, NPI, whilst actively deploying corporate strategy & driving business performance. I’m an inspiring leader who loves to empower, & optimise teams, & facilitate change where needed. An expert in the area of Operational Excellence who can lead teams to do “more with less”.

Aside from the above I know a lot about Finance, Innovation, Compliance, Material science, H&S, PLM, product positioning & IP.

Beyond work, I’m a keen cyclist and love watching rugby – I’m a big Munster rugby fan. I also enjoy photography – especially seascapes. I’ve travelled extensively around the globe and truly love immersing myself in new cultures.
I’m a very active volunteer & do lots with the youth of today especially around mental health and I’m Chairman of Cobh Ramblers Football Club.
